Bonding method

The bonding of the plexiglass board is mainly influenced by two aspects, one is the applicability of the adhesive itself and the two is the technique of bonding.
There are a lot of adhesive at home and abroad on the market, there are mainly two types, one is two components, such as adhesive, epoxy resin; there is a single component, such as CHCl3 (Lv Fang). In general, two-component adhesive is cured by the reaction to achieve bonding, one component adhesive is a volatile solvent and finally realize bonding.
The characteristic of the double component adhesive is that the bonding effect is better. The adhesive has no bubbles, no white and strong strength after bonding. The disadvantages are complex operation, difficulty, long curing time, slow speed, and difficult to adapt to mass production. The general characteristics and one component adhesive is fast and can meet the requirements of mass production process, product defect is after bonding of the bubbles, easy white, poor weather resistance, which directly influences the organic glass product external appearance and quality of the products, therefore, in the processing of organic glass products, how to choose the right the adhesive, improve the quality and grade of organic glass products is a big problem, must first solve the bonding process.
In addition, the skills of bonding are also very important. Here are some of our common bonding processes and simple analysis of their practical experience.
1, docking: put two pieces of plexiglass on the operation platform, close it up, and tape a tape at the bottom, leaving a gap not larger than 0.3mm wide for coating the adhesive. Use the syringe to inject the adhesive from one side and slowly from the gap until it is full, and then the adhesive tape will be removed after the cure is completely cured.
2, facade bonding: facade bonding is the most widely applied adhesive technology, and is widely used in making all kinds of plexiglass IT digital display rack products. First, the surface should be wiped clean. The best use of the adhesive bonding profile, which does not shake, is helpful to improve the bonding quality. The thickness of 3mm is bonded to the plexiglass, which can be padded into fine metal wire. The bonding can be finished by capillary action. Metal wire can be drawn before bonding agent is solidified, or it can be bonded by adhesive tape and adhesive.
3, must use the adhesive bonding: Bevel bevel angle of 90 degrees, in order to prevent copying, glued surface displacement. The coated adhesive should be uniform and slow. To be fully cured to remove the template.
4, surface bonding: plane bonding is a very special bonding method. First, the sticky surface will be cleaned and placed horizontally, and a proper amount of adhesive is placed on it. One side of another plexiglass plate is slanted to contact the plexiglass plate coated with adhesive, then slowly down, and the bubbles are driven out to finish bonding. The organic glass adhesive can corrode the surface of the plexiglass and leave the trace which is difficult to remove. Therefore, it can be used to protect the part which does not need to be bonded with the adhesive tape. Oil, dust, or air blowholes will impede the uniform coating of the adhesive and leave the bubbles. Excessive use of adhesive will bring the adhesive into the air. A direct blow will whiten the edges of the adhesive surface because of the volatilization of the adhesive. Indoor humidity, temperature and so on have a direct impact on the bonding of the organic glass plate.
